Oof. I've been a little negligent in updating this. I guess life just isn't that exciting here. Or, rather, it is, but it is exciting in the same way all of the time, which doesn't really make for interesting blog entries.

Anyway, the teaching continues to go well, though right now I can't imagine doing it for another year. I have one really awful class, one that is totally all over the place and hard to teach to but generally wants to learn, and all the rest are good. As far as I can tell, the teachers and students continue to like me.

I haven't really found a lot to do with my freetime, but I also haven't been bored out of my mind. I'm volunteering doing catering at the concert venue near my house. The people there are are really nice, and its been a good way for me to meet French people. Unfortunately, I've been so busy serving food to the other volunteers and the artists that I haven't gotten to hear much music, though.

I'm also traveling. This weekend I'm going to Bordeaux with another assistant (or maybe many other assistants) and for winter break I'm going to Morocco! I have about 10 days, and we're going to do as grand a tour as you can do in that amount of time. (For the first part, Brook is visiting me and we're either going to go to Paris, if we can stay somewhere, or be in Blois). Now that I've actually gotten paid, my trips/ bank account is not suffering from the weakness of the dollar.
