Hello from the Netherlands!
I arrived safely, though a little later than planned (I missed my train). Yesterday Sahar and I went to the botanical gardens, which she said reminded her a lot of Texas (all of the greenhouses) and then we took the train to her mom's place in Zaandvort aan Zee, which is a touristy seaside town. The apartment looks over the North Sea, which is really cool! Today we are going back into Amsterdam (its only about 30 minutes away) to go on a canal tour and the contemporary art museum.
Tomorrow night we leave for Prague.

So glad you are getting to do all this travelling! I haven't had a chance to see your blog since xmas, before you posted all these long posts and beautiful photos --a wonderful surprise to look thru this weekend. And I bet my Moroccan cab driver friend will enjoy seeing them!
Have a great time on this new trip... (Two of our nieces on the other side spent 1-2 years teaching Eng. in Czech Republic recently, and the lang. difference made it a much harder experience than I suspect you are having en France. So I'm glad you are just visiting there!)
